Le Puy Green Lentils P.D.O. / 500g. / Trescarte
Le Puy green lentil is a product naturally rich in trace elements, and grown exclusively without fertilizer in the Velay highlands. It is the first dried vegetable and the only lentil to receive the PDO classification. A product that has everything good and that pleases even in the canteens of Great Britain... Prince Georges could tell you about it! Preparation advice: The lens does not require sorting or soaking. Before cooking, rinse them with cold water. Allow about 60g per person, or the volume of a water glass for two people. Cooking: in a saucepan, cook for 20 to 25 minutes in 3 times their volume of water. In a casserole dish, cook for 7 to 10 minutes in 1 1/2 times their volume of water and drain after cooking.
